Welcome to our Child Care Centre in Ipswich, your premier choice for early education, kindergarten, and childcare based on Montessori principles.

The Montessori approach is based on the belief that all children have a natural desire to learn. This means that the environment in which they learn should be designed to facilitate and encourage this innate love of learning. Our early education framework provides proven support for both the physical and emotional development of babies.

Our Building Futures Montessori childcare centre is designed for hands-on learning. Children are encouraged to explore their surroundings and engage with materials in order to learn about them. For example, rather than being told what a square is, a child might be given a cube and asked to manipulate it until they discover its different sides and dimensions for themselves. Kids love this type of exploration, and it allows them to really understand and internalize the concepts they are learning.

Montessori classrooms are an integral part of our innovative child care services. They are designed so that children can work at their own pace. There is no pressure to keep up with the rest of the class; instead, each child can progress at their own speed. This provides a stimulating environment and fosters a love of learning in children because they are never made to feel like they are falling behind or struggling.

Our early years learning framework

One of the hallmarks of Montessori early childhood education is its focus on developing independence in young children. From an early age, children in a Montessori classroom are given opportunities to take care of their own personal needs and contribute to their classroom environment’s upkeep. This sense of responsibility improves their social skills and instills confidence and a strong sense of self-esteem in young children.

Another key component of our Montessori day care centre is its use of concrete materials to help children understand abstract concepts. For example, rather than simply telling a child that two plus two equals four, the child is given “manipulatives” (e.g., buttons, beads, blocks) to count out and show that two plus two does, in fact, equal four. This hands-on early learning approach allows children to play and gain real knowledge simultaneously.

Montessori teachers place a great emphasis on building relationships with their students. They view each child as an individual with unique needs and preferences. By getting to know each child well, they can better create a learning environment that meets those needs and helps each child reach their full potential. We are dedicated educators striving to develop a welcoming school environment for both the baby and their parents.
