“The first two years are important for ever, because in that period, one passes from being nothing into being something.”

A time of wonderful discovery

During the delightful ages of 15 months to 3 years, we see children drawn to exactly what they need to learn and grow. Our Infant classrooms are based on a curriculum that acknowledges that children absorb knowledge primarily through their senses. Dr Maria Montessori observed that children experience ‘Sensitive Periods’, which are windows of opportunity during which children are particularly receptive to learning and developing specific skills.

Following their heart's curiosity

Have you ever noticed your little one suddenly fascinated with arranging their toys just so, or wanting to do the same activity over and over? Young children naturally go through transient periods of heightened sensitivity, where they are intrinsically motivated to engage in activities aligned with specific developmental needs. In our prepared spaces, we honor these natural rhythms, letting each child follow their own path of discovery.

Real activities, real growth

Gentle guidance

Our Montessori educators watch carefully for signs of emerging interests. They collaboratively demonstrate new activities with loving attention, supporting independent exploration while knowing just when to step back as confidence grows. Every achievement, no matter how small, is celebrated as part of your child's unique journey.

Freedom to explore and grow

In our thoughtfully prepared spaces, your child will discover tables and chairs sized just for them, perfect for independent meals and activities. Each area offers both cozy spots for individual discovery and welcoming spaces to share experiences with friends.

During the morning work cycle, the children are invited to move around the classroom and engage in experiences that meet their emerging needs and interests. The Educators move freely around the prepared environment, assisting the children and demonstrating lessons in the activities to set them up for success.

A village of little friends

Working and growing together

There's something precious about watching toddlers work together. In our Infant Community, you'll see little ones preparing morning tea for their friends, learning to share space at a table, or proudly helping to bake bread for everyone to enjoy. They'll use real tools for pouring and food preparation, learning to care for their environment and themselves.

These shared moments nurture practical skills and the gentle art of friendship and community.

Nature's classroom

Step outside into a world of wonder. Your child will feel grass between their toes, splash in sensory experiences, and build strong bodies through movement. Our outdoor spaces invite connection with centre pets and exploration of nature's treasures, all within a safe and nurturing environment.

Let’s build your toddler's future together.

We invite you to visit our Infant Community to see how your toddler could flourish in an environment carefully tailored to support their journey to independence.
