Practical life

Practical Life skills permeate the culture of the classroom
where independence is fostered in each child. "Help me
to do it myself" is the prevailing philosophy of the classroom.
Child-sized implements and specially designed activities
promote the child's ability to manage their own affairs,
whilst improving fine motor skills and often providing
pre-literacy and pre-numeracy concepts in the program.
"Never help a child with a task at which he feels he can succeed."
